The Economic Development committee’s objective is to promote economic growth in the 2^nd Supervisorial District and to facilitate participation by 2^nd district businesses and residents in the activities generated. Special focus is towards approved projects such as the MTA Crenshaw corridor line and the Martin Luther King Medical Center which will generate economic growth in addition to providing needed services.   The committee will also facilitate local participation in federal stimulus package activities that will trickle down to Los Angeles County.
